Monumental Frog Coffee Machine: Custom Project for Expo Caffè Avellino
Excellence Beyond Scale: the Frog Project for Expo Caffè
For the company Expo Caffè of Avellino we took a design icon and turned it into a communication piece of monumental impact. The challenge was to faithfully reproduce the famous Frog coffee machine, scaled up to an imposing height of 2.20 metres.
Technical Details of the Build:

Hand Sculpting: The body of the machine was hand-carved from a block of ultra-high-density EPS foam, respecting the original proportions to scale.

Structural Treatment: To ensure durability and a flawless finish, we applied a coating of GRP (fibreglass), making the piece tough and solid.

Realistic Finish: The paintwork was carried out with selected pigments to match the brand’s colour palette exactly, giving a look indistinguishable from the countertop model.
A piece that combines set design and technical craftsmanship, created to strengthen the brand identity of Expo Caffè at events and in shops.
