Giant 3D Foam Mozzarella – Promotional Prop for the La Contadina Stand at Cibus Parma

The production process

The shape was achieved by hand-sculpting and modelling the EPS block, paying particular attention to the hand-pinched closure — the hallmark of the client’s artisan product, which had to be faithfully replicated to reinforce the brand story. Inside, we built in a load-bearing metal frame, designed to attach the sculpture to an electric turntable, making it suitable for dynamic display at trade fairs, in shops or at events.

Finish and visual effect

The outer surface was fully coated in fibreglass, then scraped and filled in several passes to achieve the irregular, porous texture of real mozzarella. The final paintwork precisely reproduces the colour nuances of the fresh cheese — as the side-by-side comparison with the real product in the project photos shows.

The result

A high-impact promotional prop that instantly communicates craftsmanship, quality and product identity. The replica is virtually indistinguishable from the original and is built to last, thanks to its reinforced structure and materials designed to withstand heavy use.
