The EPS we use has a structural density and is reinforced with fibreglass mesh and cement render, which effectively makes it equivalent to a masonry wall, ready to be finished with mosaic, ceramic tile or resin.
The most valuable property is longevity: EPS does not change over time, does not rot and does not break down, giving a service life that is effectively unlimited. And because the material works so freely, we build curved, flowing shapes that traditional formwork could never achieve.
