Sinuous Elegance: the New Face of Reception at Trezene Village

For Trezene Village in Capaccio Paestum, we designed and built a reception desk that blends contemporary aesthetics with cutting-edge construction techniques. The aim was to create a piece of furniture that would welcome guests with refinement, echoing the flowing lines of the Cilento coastline.

Dimensions and Design

At almost 2 metres wide, 60 cm deep and 110 cm high, the desk strikes the perfect balance between practicality for staff and visual impact for guests. Its curved shape is not just aesthetic: it is designed to soften the space and improve flow through the welcome area.

A piece of fine craftsmanship that shows how foam, when treated with technical mastery, can become an iconic and long-lasting design element.

Technical and Craft Details

01Structural Core

Made from high-density EPS foam, shaped to achieve a rounded, organic form.

02Reinforcement and Protection

A hardening treatment applied using fibreglass, ensuring durability and structural strength.

03Finish of Excellence

The piece went through repeated cycles of hand sanding and filling, followed by a professional filler primer.

04Final Look

Painted with a gloss finish that brings out the sinuous curves and adds a touch of modern luxury.
