Giant FINLEY Foam Lettering – 3D Stage Set for a Music Tour and Video

The project involved producing individual freestanding letters approximately 1.5 metres high, made from high-density EPS foam, a material that delivers structural lightness, safety in event settings and the best possible look under stage lighting.

The giant lettering was designed to serve two purposes:

1️⃣ Stage backdrop
Positioned at the back of the stage as the band’s signature element, helping to strengthen its visual brand identity during concerts.

2️⃣ Suspended installation
Thanks to dedicated rigging systems, the letters could be lifted and suspended above the stage, attached to the truss, creating a dynamic, high-impact scenic effect under live lighting.

The lettering was also used as the official set in the music video “San Diego”, where it appears as a background element, contributing to the video’s visual aesthetic and to the recognisability of the band’s artistic brand.

A solution, then, not just for live shows but one that fits seamlessly into video productions and media content too.
