Monumental FILCA CISL Lettering for an Event in Salerno

The FILCA CISL Event in Salerno The Grand Hotel Salerno hosted a key stage of the national congress of FILCA CISL, the construction workers’ union of CISL. The event brought together delegates from all over Italy to discuss core issues such as workplace safety, legality on building sites and the future of the sector. Given the importance of the occasion, the entrance needed an installation that would communicate the union’s identity immediately, with strength and professionalism.

The Focus Project: Monumental, Sectional 3D Lettering At the heart of our work was the monumental lettering in high-density EPS foam (EPS HD). Designed to achieve maximum visibility at the main entrance of the venue, the piece stands out for its imposing size and smart, logistics-led design.

• Scenic Dimensions: The structure reaches a height of 1 metre and an overall width of 5 metres, creating an immediate visual impact that is legible even from a distance.

• Optimised Logistics: Despite its “maxi” size, the lettering was made in 2 separate parts. This strategic split was essential to optimise transport, easy handling and quick assembly directly at the specified venue.

• Precise Visual Identity: Set on a solid white base, the 3D letter blocks faithfully reproduce the union’s colours and acronyms: red for FILCA and green for CISL, separated in the centre by the union’s official circular logo.

From Installation to Viral Selfie Spot Beyond its main welcoming role, the installation was conceived as a strategic selfie spot. Placed at the entrance, it became the ideal backdrop for delegates’ souvenir photos, turning every participant into an ambassador for the event on social media and generating spontaneous, powerful organic virality..
